TNT

It's now official. TNT has won the ratings race as basic cable's #1 network in primetime for the summer.

Propelling TNT into first place is its stellar slate of original dramas:

With Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes and The Last Ship leading the pack, TNT is home to five of basic cable's Top 10 original series this summer, more than any other network.

In key demos, The Last Ship, Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes and Falling Skies rank among basic cable's Top 5 scripted series this summer with adults 25-54, with The Last Ship and Rizzoli & Isles taking the top two spots. Those same four shows also rank among basic cable's Top 10 scripted series of the summer with adults 18-49.

Live + 7 deliveries are now available for the Aug. 11 summer finales of Major Crimes and Murder in the First, as well as the Aug. 13 premiere of TNT's new drama Legends:

The summer finale of Major Crimes garnered 7.7 million viewers in Live + 7 delivery, an increase of +7% over the prior week's episode. That lifts the summer finale's multi-platform reach to 12.7 million viewers, including linear and DVR viewing, set-top VOD and digital on-demand. Overall for the season, Major Crimes is up +6% among total viewers, +4% among adults 25-54 and +3% among adults 18-49 compared to season 2. The show is slated to return with new episodes this fall.
