Monday Results:
· The regular-slot debut of "The Celebrity Apprentice" (2.1/6 in 18-49, 6.6 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) grew by +24% versus the premiere of the prior cycle (1.7 on Sunday, March 3, 2103) and is also up +17% versus the second episode of that previous cycle (1.8 on March 10, 2013). In total viewers, last night's regular-slot debut was up +28% versus the prior premiere (6.582 million vs. 5.150 million) and up +29% versus the previous cycle's second telecast (6.582 million vs. 5.083 million).
· Despite an earlier start time (8-10 p.m. on Monday vs. 9-11 on Sunday) and last night's competition from ABC's "Bachelor" premiere, "Apprentice" retained 91% of the prior night's special Sunday premiere in 18-49 (2.1 vs. 2.3) and retained 97% in total viewers (6.6 million vs. 6.8 million).
· Last night's "Celebrity Apprentice" tied ABC's "Bachelor" season premiere head to head from 8-10 p.m. in adults 18-49 and out-rated "Bachelor" in men 18-49, adults 25-54 and men 25-54 over those two hours.
· With its first telecast in a new Monday time period, "Apprentice" beat every 18-49 and total-viewer result for the prior cycle in the spring of 2013. With its first two telecasts, this cycle of "The Celebrity Apprentice" has now delivered the show's two highest ratings since the May 20, 2012 season finale.
· "State of Affairs" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) maintained the 18-49 rating of its prior original two weeks ago (1.0 on Dec. 22) and grew by +9% in women 18-49 (1.1 to 1.2).
· "State of Affairs" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, with average growth in "live plus seven day" to date of +42% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.70 to a 2.42) and 2.9 million viewers overall (6.9 million vs. 9.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
