"Chicago P.D." Jumps 21% to its Highest Rating, Excluding the November Triple-Crossover, Since Premiere Week
Best "SVU" and "Laura" Since Jan. 7
Wednesday Primetime Results:
· "Chicago P.D." (1.7/5 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) jumped +21% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (1.7 vs. 1.4) to capture its highest rating since the Nov. 22 triple crossover (2.2). In total viewers, "Chicago P.D." was up +6% week to week (7.002 million vs. 6.578 million).
· Excluding the Nov. 22 crossover, this is the top-rated "Chicago P.D." since premiere week (1.9 on Sept. 24).
· In the time period, "Chicago P.D." ranked #1 among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in every key demo. "Chicago P.D." has now finished #1 or tied for #1 in the slot among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in adults 18-49 with eight of its last nine originals.
· "Chicago P.D." built on its 18-49 lead-in by +6%, marking the sixth time in its last seven opportunities "Chicago P.D." has maintained or built on a lead-in from an original "SVU."
· "Chicago P.D." will increase substantially in L+7 -- "Chicago P.D." originals this season are increasing by +69% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.61 to a 2.72) and 3.3 million viewers overall (7.2 million to 10.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "Law & Order: SVU" (1.6/4 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) grew +14% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (1.6 vs. 1.4) and by +3% in total viewers (6.366 million vs. 6.121 million).
· Last night's "SVU" locked up the show's highest 18-49 rating since Jan. 7 (1.7) and biggest overall audience since Jan. 21 (6.774 million).
· "Law & Order: SVU" will increase substantially in L+7 -- "SVU" originals this season are increasing by +68% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.71 a 2.87) and 3.0 million viewers overall (7.7 million to 10.7 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "The Mysteries of Laura" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +11% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (1.1 vs. 1.0) to earn its top rating since Jan. 7 (1.3).
· "The Mysteries of Laura" will increase significantly in L+7 -- "Laura" originals this season are increasing by +30% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.37 to a 1.78) and 1.8 million viewers overall (8.3 million to 10.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.3/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
