"Late Show" Up +40% in Viewers and +20% in Adults 18-49 Versus Year Ago
"The Late Late Show with James Corden" Has Its Most-Watched Week Since Its Premiere
The LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN delivered its largest average weekly audience since February 2011 while matching its season-best adult 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending May 8.
The LATE SHOW averaged 3.82m viewers, up +40% in viewers (from 2.74m) compared to the same week last year. The LATE SHOW was up +13% in adults 25-54 (0.9/04 from 0.8/03), +20% in adults 18-49 (0.6/03 from 0.5/02) and remained even in adults 18-34 (0.3/02) compared to the same week last year.
The LATE SHOW delivered its largest audience since the week ending Feb. 11, 2011, its best adults 25-54 delivery since the week ending April 4, 2014, and matched its season-best adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 deliveries. The LATE SHOW beat "The Tonight Show" in viewers.
THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN averaged 1.43m viewers, its largest audience since its premiere week.
