'HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT' MATCHES ITS SERIES HIGH IN 18-49, JUMPS +36% WEEK TO WEEK
'TALENT' GROWS +14% WEEK TO WEEK, MATCHES A SEVEN-WEEK HIGH, RANKS #1 FOR THE NIGHT ON THE BIG 4 IN EVERY KEY MEASURE
Tuesday Results:
NBC won Tuesday night among the Big 4 in every key measure with "America's Got Talent" scoring as the #1 show of the night on those nets in all key categories and "Hollywood Game Night" the #2 show in every key demo.
· "Hollywood Game Night" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) tied its series high in adult 18-49 rating (1.5, last achieved with the show's season premiere July 7), while delivering its second-most-watched episode to date (behind only the series record 5.5 million on Monday, Jan. 27, 2014).
· "Hollywood Game Night" jumped +36% week to week in 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.1) and +28% in total viewers (5.266 million vs. 4.100 million).
· "Hollywood Game Night" ranks as the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics, behind only NBC's "America's Got Talent." "HGN" won the 10 p.m. hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demographic.
· "Hollywood Game Night" will add significant viewership via time-shifting - "HGN" is increasing by +20% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.38 to a 1.65) and 676,000 viewers overall (4.9 million to 5.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "America's Got Talent" (2.5/9 in 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) jumped +14% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (2.5 vs. 2.2) to match its top score since June 23 (2.6) and finish within 0.1 of its season high (2.6 on June 23 and May 26).
· In total viewers, "America's Got Talent" hit a season high, up +10% week to week (11.183 million vs. 10.209 million).
· "America's Got Talent" ranks as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
· "America's Got Talent" will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - "Talent" is growing by +30% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.42 to a 3.14) and 2.2 million viewers overall (10.7 million to 12.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.2/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.1/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
