'NINJA WARRIOR' TIES ITS TOP 18-49 RATING IN THREE YEARS AND DELIVERS ITS #2 MOST-WATCHED EPISODE EVER

NBC WINS MONDAY AMONG THE BIG 4 IN EVERY KEY MEASURE
Monday Primetime Results:
· "American Ninja Warrior" (2.1/7 in 18-49, 7.2 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) equaled its season high in 18-49 and matched its highest 18-49 rating in more than three years, since June 4, 2012 (2.2 with "Ninja's" third telecast as a regular series on the NBC schedule).
· "American Ninja Warrior" delivered its #2 most-watched episode ever (pending updates), behind only the 7.194 million on Aug. 10, 2015)
· "American Ninja Warrior" is the #1 show of the night on Big 4 in adults 18-49, total viewers, adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demos. "American Ninja Warrior" grew +11% versus its prior regular original telecast (2.1 vs. 1.9 on Aug. 17) and was up +5% in total viewers (7.168 million vs. 6.812 million).
· Heading into last night, "American Ninja Warrior"was up +10% summer to date versus one year ago in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 2.0, "most current") and up +23% or 1.3 million persons in total viewers (7.1 million vs. 5.8 million).
· "American Ninja Warrior" will add substantial viewership via time-shifting -- "American Ninja Warrior" has grown by +18% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus seven day" ratings (from a 1.92 to a 2.26) and 869,000 viewers overall (6.5 million to 7.4 million).
· "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew +44% week to week in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 0.9) and +24% in total viewers (3.592 million vs. 2.906 million) and finished within 0.1 of the show's Aug. 10 season-high rating in 18-49.
· With a rebroadcast featuring Michael B. Jordan, "Running Wild with Bear Grylls"won its time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key demographic.
· "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" generated a +63% margin of victory among those nets in the time period (1.3 vs. 0.8 for CBS's second-place "NCIS: LA" encore).
· "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" will add significant viewership via time-shifting -- "Running Wild" is growing by +19% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.25 to a 1.49) and 627,000 viewers overall (3.7 million to 4.3 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; "CBS Summer Showcase," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
