JIMMY FALLON AND SETH MEYERS ENCORES WIN THE LATE-NIGHT RATINGS WEEK OF AUG. 24-28

'Tonight' and 'Late Night' Grow vs. Their Prior Week of Rebroadcasts

NEW YORK - Sept. 3, 2015 - NBC's encores of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have dominated their ABC and CBS time-period competition for the ratings week of Aug. 24-28 and generated gains versus both shows' previous rebroadcast weeks.

Versus results for the week of July 6-10, the prior week of "Tonight" and "Late Night" encores, Fallon was up by +8% in adult 18-49 rating (0.77 vs. 0.71) and up +15% in total viewers (3.003 million vs. 2.617 million). Meyers grew by +8% in 18-49 (0.40 vs. 0.37) and +9% in total viewers (1.325 million vs. 1.211 million).

Versus ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which aired four originals and one rebroadcast last week, the margin of victory for Fallon's encores was +40% in 18-49 rating (with a 0.77 vs. a 0.55), and versus rebroadcasts of "CBS Summer Showcase," Fallon prevailed by +83% (0.77 vs. 0.42).

Facing encores of CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" and ABC's original "Nightline," Meyers' rebroadcasts prevailed in all key categories - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- for its hour versus "Late Late Show" and its half-hour versus "Nightline."
