Friday Primetime Results:
NBC ranks #1 Friday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers, with "Dateline NBC" the #1 telecast of the night on those nets in all three measures.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in adults 18-49, 1.6 in adults 25-54, 5.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) equaled its highest Friday adult 18-49 and adult 25-54 ratings in five months (since April 3, 1.2 in 18-49, 1.7 in 25-54). In total viewers, it's the top Friday "Dateline" since May 8 (5.7 million).
· Week to week, the Friday "Dateline" is up +10% in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 1.0), +23% in 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.3) and +25% or 1.1 million persons in total viewers (5.490 million vs. 4.381 million).
· "Dateline NBC" won the two-hour time period and was the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; and total viewers.
· For its second hour from 9-10 p.m., "Dateline NBC" outrated ABC's season premiere of "20/20" and won the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. From 10-11 p.m., "Dateline's" margins over "20/20" were +25% in adults 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.9 for that hour), +50% in adults 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.2) and +64% in total viewers (6.1 million vs. 3.7 million).
· The 8-9 p.m. ET special "Think It Up" aired as sustaining programming on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox and will not be included in Friday or weekly averages.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
Friday's "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon":
· Grew night to night for a third straight night in metered-market households (2.4 on Tuesday, 3.1 on Wednesday, 3.3 on Thursday, 3.6 on Friday) and for the first time beat CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (2.8) in metered-market households (note that nationally "Tonight" topped "Late Show" in total viewers on Wednesday and Thursday).
· Scored the show's highest metered-market household rating for a Friday (3.6) in 18 months (since Feb. 28, 2014, 3.8).
· Jumped +38% above its summer average through Sept. 7 (3.6 vs. 2.6).
Jimmy Fallon's guests Friday included Donald Trump, Terrence Howard and musical guest Pharrell Williams.
Friday's "Late Night with Seth Meyers":
· Equaled the show's highest metered-market household rating for a Friday (1.6) in 18 months (since March 7, 2014, 1.7).
· Jumped +33% above its summer average through Sept. 7 (1.6 vs. 1.2).

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.6/9; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.8/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.3/7; "Late Show," 0.8/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/3 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.3/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
