National Window Highlighted by Baltimore-Denver Earns Overnight Rating/Share of 14.7/28
CBS Sports' Week 1 national doubleheader coverage of THE NFL ON CBS on Sunday, Sept. 13, highlighted by Baltimore-Denver, scored in the ratings with an average overnight household rating/share of 14.7/28, up 1% from last year's 14.6/28 for Week 2 doubleheader coverage (N.Y. Jets-Green Bay, Kansas City-Denver, Houston-Oakland) in the metered markets.
Yesterday's 14.7/28 was the best rating/share for the first CBS national game window of the season in the metered markets since a 17.8/34 (Denver-N.Y. Giants; 9/15/13). THE NFL ON CBS's other two games in the late window this year were Tennessee-Tampa Bay and Cincinnati-Oakland.
THE NFL ON CBS Week 1 early regional coverage, which included Kansas City-Houston, Miami-Washington, Cleveland-N.Y. Jets and Indianapolis-Buffalo games earned an average overnight HH rating/share of 10.6/23, up 7% from last year's 9.9/21 (New England-Minnesota, Atlanta-Cincinnati, Jacksonville-Washington, Miami-Buffalo) in the metered markets.
Yesterday's 10.6/23 in the regional window was the best rating/share for the first regional game of the season of a CBS doubleheader weekend since a 10.7/23 (San Diego-Philadelphia - high coverage game; 9/15/13).
