'BLINDSPOT' RISES TO MONDAY'S #1 MOST-WATCHED DRAMA AND #1 NEW SHOW IN L+3 RESULTS
IN 18-49, 'BLINDSPOT' RANKS BEHIND JUST 2 NBC DRAMA TELECASTS FROM ALL OF LAST SEASON IN L+3
IT'S THE BIGGEST L+3 BOOST FOR AN NBC SERIES PREMIERE IN THREE YEARS
Monday, Sept. 21 "Live Plus Three Day" Results:
In L+3 total viewers:
· "Blindspot" (15.2 million viewers in L+3) now ranks as the night's #1 drama and #1 new program in total viewers, surpassing "Scorpion" (14.2 million) among dramas and "Life in Pieces" (13.1 million) among new shows. Note that in 18-49, "Blindspot" was already #1 for the night among dramas and among new shows in "live plus same day" results.
In L+3 adult 18-49 rating:
· "Blindspot" (4.45 in L+3) is the #1 broadcast drama telecast in L+3 since the "Empire" season finale on March 18 (8.76).
· "Blindspot" ranks behind just two NBC drama telecasts all last season (the "Blacklist" season premiere, 4.96; the "Blacklist" post-Super Bowl telecast, 9.81).
· "Blindspot" is NBC's first drama debut to grow from a "Voice" lead-in in L+3 in both 18-49 and total viewers (note that "Revolution" grew in 18-49 but not in total viewers).
· With a 0.25 in Video on Demand L+3 performance, "Blindspot" tops all NBC shows last season except episodes of "The Blacklist" and one telecast of "Grimm."
In L+3 total-viewers increases:
· The increase of +4.587 million viewers (10.605 million to 15.192 million) is the largest L+3 lift on any broadcast or cable network in nearly six months, since "The Walking Dead" on March 29 (+4.735 million), and the top lift for a broadcast program since "Empire" on March 4 (+4.680 million).
In L+3 adult 18-49 increases:
· The "Blindspot" increase of +1.34 (3.11 to 4.45) is the biggest for a broadcast debut since "Empire" (Jan. 7, +1.48).
· The +1.34 is NBC's biggest for a series debut in three years, since "Revolution" (Sept. 17, 2012, +1.36).
· It matches NBC's top 18-49 lift overall since "The Blacklist" on March 19 (+1.37)
