'HEROES REBORN' CAPTURES THE SECOND-BIGGEST L+3 INCREASE FOR A NEW SHOW SO FAR THIS FALL
'THE PLAYER' GENERATES NBC'S TOP L+3 PERCENTAGE INCREASE IN TOTAL VIEWERS SO FAR THIS SEASON
Thursday, Sept. 24 "Live Plus Three Day" Results:
· "Heroes Reborn" has generated the second-biggest L+3 increase for any new show so far this fall (with L+3 results in for Sept. 21-24, +1.18 of a rating point in adults 18-49, 1.96 to 3.14), behind only "Blindspot" (+1.34 on Sept.21). It's also the #2 biggest increase for any broadcast series debut since the premiere of "Empire" (+1.48 on Jan. 7).
· Through the opening four nights of the week, "Heroes" is generating the #4 biggest gain in men 18-34 (+0.97, 1.28 to 2.25) among primetime broadcast shows and the #5 biggest increase of the broadcast nets through Thursday in men 18-49 (+1.27, 2.09 to 3.36).
· With a 0.28 rating contribution from VOD in the "Heroes Reborn" L+3 rating, it's the highest VOD L+3 boost for an NBC telecast since "Blacklist's" post-Super Bowl episode (with a 0.55 VOD rating on Feb. 1, 2015).
· In total viewers, "Heroes Reborn" increased its audience by 2.6 million viewers overall going from L+SD to L+3 (from 6.1 million to 8.7 million).
· "The Player" increased by +52% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens (1.16 to 1.76) and by +45% or more than 2.1 million viewers overall (from 4.9 million to 7.0 million).
· The +52% increase in 18-49 is NBC's second biggest on a percentage basis so far this season, behind only "Heroes Reborn's" +60%.
· The +45% increase in total viewers is NBC's biggest percentage lift so far this season (with L+3 results in for Sept. 21-24) and is a larger percentage than generated last week by dramas "Empire" (+28%), "Scandal" (+37%) and "Greys Anatomy" (+29%)
