Baltimore-Pittsburgh Earns Rating/Share of 13.0/22 in Metered Markets
TNF Season-To-Date Ratings Up +19% Overall
CBS and NFL Network's broadcast of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL earned an average overnight household rating/share of 13.0/22 in the 56 metered markets, +16% from last year's 11.2/19 for the third week of TNF, which featured the N.Y. Giants vs. Washington (9/24/14).
Last night's Baltimore-Pittsburgh pregame and game coverage on CBS and NFL Network from 8:00-11:00 PM, ET averaged a primetime household rating/share of 11.7/20, + 9% from 2014's 10.7/18 in week three.
Last's night primetime average rating on CBS and NFL Network beat each of the broadcast networks: +303% better than FOX (2.9/5), +193% better than NBC (4.0/7), and +86% better than ABC (6.3/10).
Through the first three weeks of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, CBS and NFL Network's game coverage has earned a combined overnight rating/share of 13.2/23, +19% from last year's 11.1/19.
Last night's game HH rating/share peaked at 14.7/29 from 11:30 PM-11:45 PM, ET.
THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL will continue next week on Oct. 8 with Indianapolis at Houston.

First Three Weeks of TNF Up +20% in Viewers
CBS and NFL Network's broadcast of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL featuring Baltimore-Pittsburgh on Thursday, Oct. 1 was seen by an average of 19.4 million viewers, according to Nielsen fast national ratings (Live + Same Day), a +19% increase from last year's third week TNF game (16.3 million, N.Y. Giants-Washington, 9/24/14), and earned a household rating/share of 11.8/21, +16% from last year (10.2/17).
Through the first three weeks of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, CBS and NFL Network's game coverage is averaging 19.3 million viewers, +20% from last year's 16.1 million, and has earned a combined national rating/share of 11.8/21, +18% from last year's 10.0/17.
In Primetime from 8:00-11:00 PM, ET, CBS and NFL Network's pregame and game coverage of Baltimore-Pittsburgh averaged 17.5 million viewers, more than doubling the competition: +265% ahead of FOX (4.8m), +207% ahead of NBC (5.7m) and +108% ahead of ABC (8.4m).
CBS and NFL Network's HH rating/share of 10.6/18 in primetime also beat each of the broadcast networks: +266% ahead of FOX (2.9/5), +194% ahead of NBC (3.6/6) and +86% ahead of ABC (5.7/10).
The game peaked from 11:30-11:49 PM, ET in both viewers (21.4 million) and HH rating/share (13.4/27).
THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL continues next week on October 8 with Indianapolis at Houston.
