'UNDATEABLE' GROWS +13% VS. LAST WEEK'S SEASON PREMIERE IN 18-49, +27% IN TOTAL VIEWERS; HITS 19-WEEK 18-49 HIGH IN THE SLOT
VERSUS LAST WEEK'S 'UNDATEABLE' 8:30 HALF-HOUR, 'TRUTH BE TOLD' RETAINS 100% IN 25-54 AND GROWS IN TOTAL VIEWERS
Friday Primetime Results:
"Undateable" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):
· Grows +13% or 0.1 of a point versus last week's season premiere in 18-49.
· Jumps +27% over last week's season premiere in total viewers (3.236 million vs. 2.540 million).
· Hits a 19-week time-slot high for NBC in 18-49 rating (best since a 1.0 with "Jurassic Park" on June 5).
· With a live telecast, is up +29% in 18-49 versus the average for the last four "Undateable" episodes that did not have a "Voice lead-in prior to this season (0.7 for June 26-July 3, 2014) and is up +48% in total viewers (3.236 million vs. 2.188 million).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - the prior week's "Undateable" grew by +28% in 18-49 (0.79 to 1.01) going from L+SD to L+3 and by 476,000 viewers overall.
The debut of "Truth Be Told" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):
· Is close to rounding up to a 0.8 (currently reporting a 0.74 in these fast-affiliate ratings).
· Versus last week's "Undateable" ratings in the time period, retains 88% in adults 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.8).
· Versus last week, retains 100% in adults 25-54 (1.0), men 25-54 (0.8) and women 25-54 (1.2).
· Versus last week in total viewers, is up 9% versus "Undateable" in the time period (2.635 million vs. 2.411 million).
· Versus last night's lead-in from "Undateable," retained 78% in adults 18-49, 81% in total viewers, 83% in adults 25-54 (1.0 vs. 1.2) and 86% in women 25-54 (1.2 vs. 1.4)
"Dateline NBC" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):
· Maintained 100% of last week's rating in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.9) and 100% in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.4).
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the Sept. 25 season premiere of Friday's "Dateline NBC" increased by +38% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.04 to a 1.43) and more than 1.1 million viewers overall (5.1 million to 6.1 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
