Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (10/20/15):
NBC (7.836 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) held onto the demo crown on Tuesday with its trio of "Best Time Ever with Neil Patrick Harris" (4.775 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #10), "The Voice" (10.990 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.743 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #4).
CBS (12.521 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) then was a close second with its lineup of "NCIS" (16.873 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2), "NCIS: New Orleans" (12.837 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T5) and "Limitless" (7.853 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #9).
Next up was ABC (3.975 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) and its annual repeats of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (5.946 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) and "Toy Story of Terror!" (5.028 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T5) plus a new "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (3.838 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.5, #7) and a repeat "Shark Tank" (2.600 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.8, #14).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

FOX (10.679 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) pulled into the top spot on Tuesday thanks to its coverage of the "World Series, Game 1" (10.679 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2).
NBC (8.137 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) then had to settle for second place with its mix of "The Voice" (11.498 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1), "Marry Me" (6.071 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5), "About a Boy" (4.888 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) and "Chicago Fire" (7.433 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T5).
