"Undateable" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):
· With a live telecast, equals the show's 18-49 average for the last four "Undateable" episodes that did not have a "Voice" lead-in prior to this season (0.7 for June 26-July 3, 2014).
· Facing the clinching game of the American League Championship Series, is up +20% in total viewers versus the "Undateable" average for its last four episodes that did not have a "Voice" lead-in before this season (2.628 million vs. 2.188 million).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - last week's "Undateable" grew by +21% in 18-49 (0.89 to 1.08) going from L+SD to L+3 and by 413,000 viewers overall (3.1 million to 3.5 million).
· Upscale: The prior week's "Undateable" was the most upscale scripted show of the night on the Big 4, indexing at a 118 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (L+SD).
"Truth Be Told" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):
· Retains 86% of its lead-in from "Undateable" in adults 18-49, up from last week's 78%.
· Retains 89% of "Undateable" in adults 25-54 (0.8 vs. 0.9) and +90% in women 25-54 (0.9 vs. 1.0).
· Finishes within 0.1 of a point of last week's series premiere in adults 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.7)
· Note that last week's "Truth Be Told" improved in L+3 to 88% retention of its 18-49 lead-in from "Undateable" (0.95 vs. 1.08), up from 78% in rounded L+SD rating (0.7 vs. 0.9) and 83% in unrounded L+SD rating (0.75 vs. 0.89).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting - the previous week's "Truth Be Told" increased by +28% in 18-49 (0.74 to 0.95) going from L+SD to L+3 and by 455,000 viewers overall (2.6 million to 3.0 million).
"Dateline NBC" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):
· Maintained 100% of last week's ratings in adults 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.9) and adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.4).
· Facing the clinching game of the American League Championship Series, grows week to week in women 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.1) and women 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.7).
· Is close to rounding up to a 1.0 (currently reporting a 0.94).
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - Friday's "Dateline NBC" has increased by +34% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 1.07 to a 1.43) and 1.1 million viewers overall (5.4 million to 6.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/6 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.3/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
