"GOLD RUSH" DOMINATES TELEVISION IN MEN ON FRIDAY OCT. 23
"GOLD RUSH" Outperforms All Television Programming in Men 25-54/18-49/18-34 including the MLB Playoffs and ABC's Shark Tank
Discovery Channel's GOLD RUSH was #1 in all of television in Men 25-54, Men 18-49 and Men 18-34 on Friday, Oct. 23 in L+3, making it #1 for two consecutive weeks among Men 25-54, beating the MLB Playoffs and Shark Tank on ABC, among all other programs. On cable, GOLD RUSH dominated the 25-54, 18-49 and 18-34 demos and the series premiere of Pacific Warriors pushed Discovery to rank as the #1 non-sports cable network in the 10p hour across Adults and Men 25-54/18-49, as well as Total Viewers and HH.
GOLD RUSH at 9PM was the #1 cable program on Friday among Adults, Men and Women 25-54/18-49 and Adults/Men 18-34, no exclusions, earning a 3.65 HH / 2.79 P25-54 / 3.93 M25-54 / 1.69 W25-54 / 2.20 P18-49 / 3.01 M18-49 / 1.39 W18-49 / 1.57 P18-34 / 1.96 M18-34 and 1.19 W18-34 with 4.9 million Total Viewers P2+.
The Dirt at 8PM earned a .93 in Adults 25-54 and a 1.32 in Men 25-54 with 2 million Total Viewers P2+ while the series premiere of Pacific Warriors at 10PM earned a .83 in Adults 25-54 and 1.20 among Men 25-54 with 1.5 million Total Viewers P2+. Among P25-54 and M25-54, The Dirt and Pacific Warriors were the #2 and #3 non-sports telecasts, respectively, on Friday cable behind only GOLD RUSH.
All new episodes of GOLD RUSH and Pacific Warriors will air on Friday, Oct. 30.
