Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, "Empire" Reclaim Top Demo Spot

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/11/15):

FOX (8.177 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1) took home the top demo honors on Wednesday with new episodes of "Rosewood" (5.208 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.4, #11) and "Empire" (11.146 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.2, #1).

Second place then went to NBC (8.287 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.0, #2) with a special "The Voice" (10.202 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3) followed by new episodes of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (7.853 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T6) and "Chicago PD" (6.805 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T9).

Next up was ABC (6.299 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #3) and its original lineup of "The Middle" (7.573 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.0, #T6), "The Goldbergs" (6.988 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T4), "Modern Family" (8.119 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2), "Black-ish" (6.002 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.9, #8) and "Nashville" (4.556 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #13).

Meanwhile, CBS (8.064 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4) offered up new episodes from "Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance" (8.937 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T4), "Criminal Minds" (8.392 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T9) and "Code Black" (6.863 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.3, #12).

And finally, fresh installments of "Arrow" (2.275 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #14) and "Supernatural" (1.714 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.7, #15) on The CW (1.995 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5) closed out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (10.029 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1) got a boost on Wednesday thanks to a special "The Voice" (10.609 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T2) followed by new episodes of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (10.013 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.4, #4) and "Chicago PD" (9.466 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.2, #7).

ABC (7.425 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #2) then claimed the silver with its mix of "The Middle" (8.117 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.9, #9), "The Goldbergs" (7.541 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.1, #8), "Modern Family" (9.767 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.1, #1), "Black-ish" (7.867 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.5, #T2) and "Nashville" (5.631 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T11).

Next up was CBS (8.820 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) with originals from "Survivor: San Juan del Sur" (9.381 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T5), "Criminal Minds" (10.100 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T5) and "Stalker" (6.979 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T11).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.276 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) served up fresh installments of "Hell's Kitchen" (3.712 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.5, #10) and "Red Band Society" (2.839 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T13).

And finally, The CW (2.178 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #5) closed out the evening with new episodes of "Arrow" (2.568 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T13) and "The 100" (1.788 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #15). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former delivered a 0.5 rating while the latter posted a 0.4 rating.
