November 2015 Sweep
"Nightline" won the 2015 November Sweep in Total Viewers (1.664 million), based on Most Current Data from Nielsen Media Research. In fact, "Nightline" won its 2nd consecutive November sweep in Total Viewers. "Nightline" outperformed CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden (1.220 million) by 444,000 and NBC's "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.613 million) by 51,000.
In addition, "Nightline" beat CBS' "The Late Late Show" (510,000 and 418,000, respectively) during the 2015 November sweep in Adults 25-54 (+149,000) and Adults 18-49 (+100,000).
"Nightline" improved on its previous sweep performance (1.358 million, 539,000, and 414,000 for July 2015) by double-digits in Total Viewer (+23%), Adults 25-54 (+22%) and Adults 18-49 (+25%).
Week of November 23, 2015
ABC's "Nightline" averaged 1.640 million Total Viewers, 647,000 Adults 25-54 and 488,000 Adults 18-49 during the week of November 23, 2015, based on Live +Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. "Nightline" outperformed CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.308 million, 586,000 and 446,000, respectively) in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+332,000), Adults 25-54 (+61,000) and Adults 18-49 (+42,000).
"Nightline" improved week to week (1.530 million, 591,000 and 480,000 for w/o 11/16/15) in Total Viewers (+7%), Adults 25-54 (+9%) and Adults 18-49 (+2%).
Season to date, "Nightline" leads CBS' "The Late Late Show with James Corden" across the board: Total Viewers (+337,000), Adults 25-54 (+123,000) and Adults 18-49 (+71,000).
Note: "Nightline's" weekly average is based on two days (Mon-Tue), CBS's "The Late Late Show's" weekly average is based on three days (Mon- Wed) and NBC's "Late Night's" weekly average is based on four days (Mon - Thurs). With Thanksgiving week, telecasts of "Nightline" from Wednesday - Friday," "The Late Late Show" on Thursday and Friday and "Late Night" on Friday were coded as specials and are excluded from the weekly averages.

The program airs weeknights from 12:35-1:05 a.m., ET on the ABC Television Network. ABC's Kimmel Scores its 4th Straight Win Over CBS' Colbert in AD18-49 and Grows to a 5-Week High
During the week of November 23, 2015, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live topped CBS' The Late Show with Stephen Colbert for the 4th week in a row in Adults 18-49 and with its largest margin yet, topping the new CBS late-night program by 21% (827,000 vs. 685,000). Kimmel also drew a larger overall audience for the 3rd time in 4 weeks, outdrawing Colbert by 4% in Total Viewers (2.600 million vs. 2.504 million). ABC's Kimmel ranked as the #2 late-night talk show for the 4th week in a row among young adults.
ABC's Kimmel also beat CBS' Colbert for the 2nd straight week among Adults 18-34, improving its advantage to 39% (253,000 vs. 182,000) compared to 14% the prior week.
· Kimmel grew for the 2nd consecutive week in Adults 18-49 (+12%) to a 5-week high - since the week of 10/19/15.
Please note: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the Wednesday - Friday telecasts of Kimmel were coded as specials and were excluded from the show's average, while the Thursday and Friday telecasts of Colbert were excluded from the show's weekly average.

With its late-night lineup of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" at 11:35 p.m. and "Nightline" at 12:35 a.m. during the week of November 23, 2015, ABC was up for the 2nd-straight week in Adults 18-49 (+9% - 716,000 vs. 654,000) to deliver a 5-week high in late-night (since w/o 10/19/15) and its 2nd-strongest performance this season. ABC also grew week to week in Total Viewers (+8% - 2.287 million vs. 2.124 million), drawing its 3rd-largest audience in late-night this season.
· ABC was the week's No. 2 network in late-night, beating CBS by double-digits in Total Viewers (+20% - 2.287 million vs. 1.900 million) and Adults 18-49 (+27% - 716,000 vs. 564,000).
