"SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE" MATCHES ITS HIGH ENCORE DEMO RATING SINCE MAY
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday night:
· A encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with hosts Tina Fey & Amy Poehler and musical guest Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band (3.0/7 in metered-market households, 1.2/5 in adults 18-49 in the local people meters) matched the show's highest 18-49 rating in the local people meters for a rebroadcast since May.
· In the 25 markets with local people meters, the 1.2 for last night's "Saturday Night Live" equaled the show's highest rating for an encore since May 30 (1.3/6 with host Cameron Diaz and musical guests Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars). The 3.0 in households ties the high for an "SNL" encore since Oct. 24 (3.1/8 with host and musical guest Miley Cyrus).
· Note that "SNL" adds significant viewership via time-shifting, growing by +52% going from "live plus same day" to "live plus seven day" ratings in national adult 18-49 results (from a 1.84 rating to a 2.79), and by +2.252 million persons in total viewers (6.236 million to 8.488 million).
Saturday Primetime Results:
"Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
· Is the #1 non-sports choice in the time period on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, adults 25-54, total viewers and all key adult-male demos.
· Grew +50% from its first half-hour to its fourth in adults 18-49 (0.6 to 0.9), +44% in adults 25-54 (0.9 to 1.3) and +47% or more than 1.7 million persons in total viewers (3.6 million to 5.4 million).
· Delivered its second-most-watched episode since Oct. 24, trailing over that span only last week's telecast (4.9 million).
An encore telecast of "Shades of Blue" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Retained its full rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.6), as well as adults, men and women 25-54, despite the 10 p.m. hour.
· Grew half-hour to half-hour in men 18-49, women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.
