"Chicago P.D." (1.5/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Wins the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and other key demos.
· Has now finished #1 or tied for #1 in 18-49 versus the time period's regular ABC and CBS drama competition with its last 27 regular-slot originals, dating back to November 2014.
· Equals its rating for the same night last year in 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.5).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- last week's "Chicago P.D." increased by +41% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.98 to 2.80) and by 2.8 million persons in total viewers (8.0 million vs. 10.8 million)
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):
· Jumps +31% versus the same night last year in 18-49 (1.7 vs. 1.3 on Jan. 21, 2015 vs. week 3 of Fox's "Empire").
· Builds on last night's lead-in by +42% in 18-49.
· Ties for #2 in the time period among the Big 4 in 18-49 and is #2 outright among those nets in total viewers.
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - Last week's "SVU" grew by +42% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.99 to 2.83) and by 2.2 million persons in total viewers (8.0 million vs. 10.1 million).
"The Mysteries of Laura" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 7.0 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
· Equals its season high in 18-49.
· Matches its highest rating since the Feb. 25, 2015 telecast featuring guest star Erick McCormack (1.4).
· Maintains +100% of its 18-49 rating week to week (1.2 vs. 1.2).
· Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD -- Last week's "Laura" grew by +24% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.22 to 1.51) and by 1.3 million persons in total viewers (7.5 million vs. 8.8 million).
· Upscale: "Laura" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 109 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:
· In adult 18-49 rating in the local people meters, Fallon (1.0) equaled the combined results of CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.5) and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.5).
· In 18-49 in the local people meters, Meyers (0.5) tied Colbert (0.5) and tied Kimmel (0.5), despite Meyers' later start time.
· In 18-49, Carson Daly's encore (0.3) beat Corden (0.2), despite starting an hour later, and tied "Nightline" (0.3), despite starting 90 minutes later.
· Fallon's guests Wednesday night included Dakota Johnson, Marlon Wayans and musical guest Stephen Bishop.
· Meyers' guests Wednesday included James Spader, Jenna Fischer and Gad Elmaleh.
· Daly's guests Wednesday night included Luke Bracey, Torres and musical guest Zella Day (encore).
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
