ABC's Madoff Closes with Solid Numbers on Thursday - After the Fall Special Wins the 10pm Hour over CBS and NBC Dramas

Madoff - Part 2 (8-10pm - 6.7 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): Opposite all-original sweep competition from 8-10pm (CBS' comedy block/Fox's American Idol/NBC's dramas), Part 2 of ABC's original movie Madoff delivered the net's best numbers in the 2-hour time period since its high-rated New Year's Eve coverage (12/31/15) with Total Viewers (6.7 million), Adults 25-54 (1.5/4) and Adults 18-49 (1.0/3). And excluding New Year's Eve, it was ABC's strongest performance in the slot in nearly 3 months - since 11/19/15.

· Madoff - Part 2 built from its first to second hour in Total Viewers (6.6 million to 6.7 million), Adults 18-49 (1.0/3 to 1.1/3) and Adults 25-54 (1.4/4 to 1.6/4).

Madoff: After the Fall (10-11pm - 6.7 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49): In the 10pm hour, the ABC special Madoff: After the Fall built on its lead-in with key Adults and won its hour over CBS' Elementary and NBC's Shades of Blue in Total Viewers (6.7 million), Adults 25-54 (1.7/5) and Adults 18-49 (1.2/4). ABC's Madoff Movie Delivers an Upscale Audience

Based on Nielsen's just released Adult 18-49 ratings in Homes with $100K+ annual income (L+SD for 2/3/16), ABC's Madoff Part 1 delivered a 1.5 rating, 25% higher than its 1.2 Total U.S. rating (Index of 125). And Madoff was 33% higher than its Total U.S. number (Index of 133) among Adults 18-49 in Homes with $200K+ annual income, rising to a 1.6 rating.

· With an Upscale Index of 125, Madoff-Part 1 emerged as Wednesday's #1 broadcast program among Adults 18-49 in Homes with $100K+ Annual Income. With an Index of 133, the movie was the #2 broadcast of the night among $200K+ Annual Income Adults 18-49.

· Based on Upscale Adult 18-49 Ratings, the movie jumped up to rank as the 4th-highest-rated show of the night with $100K+ Adults 18-49 (1.5 rating-tie) and $200K+ Adults 18-49 (1.6 rating), after tying for #7 on the night in the Total U.S. ratings (1.2 rating).
