"THE RAP GAME" RECORDS SERIES HIGHS ACROSS ALL DEMOS, INCLUDING 1.6 MILLION VIEWERS, IN SEASON ONE FINALE

Recently Renewed Hit Reality-Competition Series Wraps First Season with Double Digits Gains Versus Premiere as Miss Mulatto Wins Recording Contract with Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings

NEW YORK, NY (February 22, 2016) - Friday's season one finale of Lifetime's new hit reality-competition program The Rap Game recorded series highs in all demographics while also posting double digits gains versus its New Year's Day premiere, including 1.6 million Total Viewers, a +38% jump compared to launch. Airing at 10:00pm, the program, which focuses on five emerging young hip hop artists ages 12 to 16 years old who are given the opportunity to rhyme and flow with highly sought-after producer Jermaine Dupri, also delivered 858,000 Adults 18-49 (+33%), 815,000 Adults 25-54 (+51%), 638,000 Women 18-49 (+33%) and 622,000 Women 25-54 (+44%), according to Nielsen. Friday's most tweeted about non-sports program on television and revealing Atlanta native Miss Mulatto as this season's winner, the finale drove Lifetime to rank as the number one cable network in its Friday 10-11p time period with Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.

Leading into The Rap Game at 9:00pm, Lifetime's hit docuseries Bring It! averaged 1.4 million Total Viewers, 757,000 Adults 18-49, 694,000 Adults 25-54, 600,000 Women 18-49 and 553,000 Women 25-54. Together, the two programs powered Lifetime to be the number one cable network on Friday night with Women 18-49 and Women 25-54. In addition, the evening was the network's best Friday night in more than six years with Women 25-54 and the best Friday night since 9/27/13 with Adults 18-49, Women 18-49 and since 12/26/14 with Adults 25-54.

Propelling Lifetime to be the number one cable network among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 in its Friday 10-11pm time period and already renewed for a second season, The Rap Game follows young, aspiring rappers as they are immersed in the Atlanta hip hop scene with Dupri at the helm as their mentor. This season featured such special guests as Usher, Ludacris, Da Brat, T.I. and Silent, who joined Dupri to help mold the kids into the next big, young rap star. From executive producers Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere, along with Dupri, The Rap Game's median age of 33 makes the program Lifetime's youngest skewing series currently on the air. Season two of The Rap Game will premiere this summer.

Produced by Intuitive Entertainment, The Rap Game is executive produced by Mechelle Collins and Kevin Dill, showrunner Sean Rankine, Laura Fuest Silva and Chris Deaux, in addition to Dupri, Latifah and Compere. Lifetime's Eli Lehrer, Mary Donahue and Mariana Flynn also executive produce.
