"Dateline" Matches Its Friday High Since February
NBC spins the numbers for Friday, April 15.

"DATELINE" EQUALS ITS FRIDAY HIGH IN 18-49 SINCE FEB. 26

THIS SEASON, "GRIMM" IS AVERAGING A +90% LIFT GOING FROM L+SD TO L+7; LAST WEEK'S "GRIMM" LOCKED UP THE BIGGEST L+3 INCREASE OF THE NIGHT

Friday Primetime Results:

"Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Matches its highest adult 18-49 rating for a Friday telecast since Feb. 26 (1.2) and, with a 1.4 in adults 25-54, also equals its high in that demo since Feb. 26 (1.8).

· Grows +11% week to week in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.9) and +8% in adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.3).

· Despite the 10 p.m. hour, grows from its first half-hour to its second in by +11% in adults 18-49 (0.9 to 1.0), +8% in adults 25-54 (1.3 to 1.4) and +5% in total viewers (4.3 million to 4.5 million).

· Is currently tied for #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and ranks #2 outright among those nets in men 25-54.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting -- The prior week's "Dateline" increased by +40% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (0.93 to 1.30) and 1.1 million persons in total viewers (4.5 million to 5.6 million).

· Upscale: "Dateline" delivers a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 110 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.

"Grimm" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):

· Is currently building on its lead-in by +25% in adults 18-49 and +14% in total viewers.

· Maintains its rating or grows half-hour to half-hour in every key category - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.

· Will increase dramatically from these numbers via time-shifting:

· L+7: "Grimm" has increased by +90% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.91 to a 1.73) and more than 2.4 million viewers overall (3.9 million to 6.4 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· L+3: The previous telecast of "Grimm" grew by +68% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (0.94 to 1.58) and 1.9 million persons in total viewers (4.3 million to 6.2 million).

· The +68% gain in 18-49 was the biggest 18-49 lift of the night on the Big 4.

· Upscale: "Grimm" is capturing a solid upscale audience this season, indexing at a 110 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" including L+3).

"Caught on Camera With Nick Cannon" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):

· Is close to rounding up to a 0.7 (currently reporting a 0.646 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).

· Finishes within 0.1 of the rating for its most recent original telecast in 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.7 on March 25) and retains 98% in total viewers (3.402 million vs. 3.470 million).

Note: NBC carried Major League Baseball in the San Francisco market.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
