HGTV CAPTURED #1 SPOT AMONG P25-54 AND W25-54 IN THURSDAY PRIME
'Flip or Flop' Delivered Highest Rated Season Premiere in Its History
New York [For Immediate Release - June 13, 2016] HGTV dominated cable rankings on Thursday, landing in the #1 spot among cable networks in primetime (8P-12A) with a .71 rating among viewers P25-54 and a .96 rating among W25-54. HGTV also captured the #1 position among upscale W25-54 and upscale P25-54. The night's stellar performance was anchored by the fourth season premiere of Flip or Flop at 9 p.m. ET/PT, which delivered a hefty 1.00 rating among P25-54, making it the highest-rated season premiere in the series' history. Flip or Flop ranked as the #1 program on cable that night among W25-54, averaging a 1.28 rating among this demo.
HGTV had three programs in the Top 10 on Thursday night, including an encore episode of Flip or Flop at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT and a premiere episode of House Hunters at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
