Here are the highlights of the 11 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (8/5/16):
NBC (27.260 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 7.7, #1) was of course the network to beat on Friday with the debut of its "Olympic Games Rio 2016" (27.260 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 7.7, #1) coverage.
ABC (2.988 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #2) then was king of the leftovers with its mix of "Shark Tank" (2.940 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (2.683 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2) and "20/20" (3.343 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T2).
Next up was CBS (3.727 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) with repeats of "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.566 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5), "Hawaii Five-0" (3.501 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5) and "Blue Bloods" (4.115 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T5).
FOX (1.320 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) likewise offered up a second run "MasterChef" (1.320 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #8).

ABC (4.127 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T1) likewise claimed the top spot with its mix of "Shark Tank" (4.363 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.072 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) and "20/20" (3.949 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
