"THE VOICE" POST-OLYMPIC TELECAST DELIVERS STRONG SAMPLING
IT'S THE TOP "VOICE" IN 18-49 SINCE MARCH AND NBC'S BEST NON-OLYMPIC RATING IN THE SLOT SINCE THE GOLDEN GLOBES
"The Voice: Blind Auditions Olympic Premiere" (2.7/10 in 18-49, 10.4 million viewers overall from 10:30-11 p.m. ET):
· Generated strong sampling, scoring the highest "Voice" rating since March 28 in 18-49 (2.8).
· More than doubled the ABC and CBS original competition in the time period combined (2.7 vs. a combined 1.2 for ABC's "Match Game" and CBS's "Braindead").
· Delivered NBC's highest 18-49 and total-viewer results in the slot, excluding Olympics-related programming, since the Golden Globes on Jan. 10.
· Returned up +23% versus last spring's finale in 18-49 (2.7 vs. 2.2 from 9-11 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24).
· Will grow substantially via time-shifting and VOD - last season, Monday's "Voice" grew by +24% going from L+SD to L+7 in 18-49 rating (from a 2.81 to a 3.49) and 2.0 million viewers overall (11.5 million to 13.5 million).
