The L+3's are in for in Monday, Sept. 19 and happy to report that FOX's hit dramas GOTHAM and LUCIFER both saw significant gains versus Live+Same Day.
The Season Three premiere of GOTHAM grew +54% after only 3 days of delayed TV viewing (2.0 vs. 1.3). Its total multiplatform rolled up to 5.9 million in the first three days -- up +51% vs its same-day delivery (vs 3.9 mil).
The Season Two premiere of LUCIFER also saw a healthy gain in Nielsen's Live +3s, growing +54% to a 2.0 rating from its 1.3 Live +Same Day in Adults 18-49. With all viewing in the first three days across platforms , LUCIFER drew a total multiplatform audience of 7.0 million -- up +59% from its same-day audience (4.4 million), marking LUCIFER's largest 3-day multi-platform audience since 3/7/16.
In the next all-new episode of GOTHAM, "Mad City: Burn The Witch," airing this Monday, Sept. 26 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), Fish Mooney (guest star Jada Pinkett Smith) takes matters into her own hands to locate Hugo Strange (guest star BD Wong), forcing Gordon (Ben McKenzie) to reluctantly team up with journalist Valerie Vale (guest star Jamie Chung) to find her. Meanwhile, Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) rises in popularity, after criticizing the work of the GCPD, and Bruce's (David Mazouz) investigation of the Court of Owls is compromised. Also, Ivy Pepper (Maggie Geha) is reintroduced into Gotham City.
In the next all-new episode of LUCIFER, "Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire," airing Monday, Oct. 3 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT), Lucifer's mother, Charlotte (Tricia Helfer), turns up at the scene of a grizzly murder pleading innocence, but Lucifer is hesitant to believe her tale. Not wanting to leave her on her own, he instructs Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) to babysit her - and not to torture her, allowing him to investigate the case with Chloe (Lauren German).
