Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Tops Demos, NBC Big with Total Viewers

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (11/30/16):

FOX (7.120 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday with fresh installments from "Lethal Weapon" (6.425 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #8) and "Empire" (7.817 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1).

NBC (11.192 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #2) then was the number two draw with its specials "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" (10.512 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T5) and "Dolly Parton's Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love" (11.532 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T5).

Next up was ABC (5.668 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #3) and its original lineup of "The Goldbergs" (5.896 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T5), "Speechless" (4.931 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.5, #9), "Modern Family" (6.786 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2), "Black-ish" (5.430 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.8, #4) and "Designated Survivor" (5.483 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T11).

Meanwhile, CBS (7.360 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #4) offered up new episodes of "Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X" (8.765 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #3), "Criminal Minds" (7.388 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.4, #10) and "Code Black" (5.929 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #13).

And finally, The CW (2.301 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5) got a big boost from its crossover powered "Arrow" (3.520 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T11) and a new "Frequency" (1.082 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/3. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

FOX (8.284 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.9, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday thanks to the fall finales of "Rosewood" (5.034 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T11) and "Empire" (11.536 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.4, #1).

CBS (8.855 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2) then was the most-watched network with originals from "Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance" (9.388 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3), "Criminal Minds" (8.680 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7) and "Code Black" (8.499 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T7).

Next up was ABC (5.907 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T2) and its mix of "The Middle" (7.762 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.1, #T3), "The Goldbergs" (6.496 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.0, #5), "Modern Family" (7.368 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2), "Black-ish" (5.512 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.7, #6) and "Nashville" (4.152 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T14).
