Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "This Is Us" Continues Its Reign for NBC

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/17/17):

NBC (7.740 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was the demo king on Tuesday with its trio of "The Wall" (6.646 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T3), "This Is Us" (9.531 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.6, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.044 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.6, #5).

CBS (11.848 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then took home the silver with its dramas "NCIS" (15.421 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2), "Bull" (10.966 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T6) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.157 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #8).

Next up was ABC (3.779 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) with originals from "The Middle" (6.596 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T3), "American Housewife" (5.425 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T6), "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.845 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T9), "The Real O'Neals" (2.767 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T12) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.020 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #14).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.727 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up fresh installments of "New Girl" (2.351 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #11), "The Mick" (2.727 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T9) and "Bones" (2.915 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T12).

And finally, a repeat of "The Flash" (1.008 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #15) and the season finale of "No Tomorrow" (0.604 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.2, #16) closed out the night for The CW (0.806 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (12.324 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) was back in front on Tuesday with new episodes from "NCIS" (17.370 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.4, #1), "NCIS: New Orleans" (13.231 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #2) and "Limitless" (6.371 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7).

NBC (6.574 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then claimed the silver with originals from "Hollywood Game Night" (4.633 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7), "Chicago Med" (7.049 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4) and "Chicago Fire" (8.040 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3).

Next up was The CW (2.687 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) with the return of "The Flash" (3.422 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T5) plus new specials "DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now" (2.073 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T11) and "DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League" (1.832 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T15).
