Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: "This Is Us" Keeps NBC on Top in Demos

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/24/17):

NBC (7.785 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #1) was the demo champ on Tuesday with originals from "The Wall" (6.542 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.6, #4), "This Is Us" (9.513 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1) and "Chicago Fire" (7.300 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #3).

CBS (12.052 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then was the silver draw with its mix of "NCIS" (16.019 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2), "Bull" (11.080 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #5) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.059 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #6).

Next up was FOX (2.811 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and new episodes of "New Girl" (2.369 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10), "The Mick" (2.786 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7) and "Bones" (3.044 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.776 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4) offered up repeats of "The Middle" (4.372 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7), "American Housewife" (3.389 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10), "Fresh Off the Boat" (2.779 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #13), "The Real O'Neals" (2.067 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T15) and a new "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.024 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.7, #14).

And finally, the return of "The Flash" (2.684 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.790 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T15) closed out the night on The CW (2.237 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T4).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (6.814 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) was the top draw on Tuesday with its trio of "Hollywood Game Night" (4.505 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5), "Chicago Med" (7.531 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2) and "Chicago Fire" (8.406 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1).

CBS (8.512 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then claimed the silver despite an all-repeat lineup of "NCIS" (11.886 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T3), "NCIS: New Orleans" (9.053 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5) and "Limitless" (4.598 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.8, #12).

Next up was The CW (2.685 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with a new "The Flash" (3.672 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T3) and an encore of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.698 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.6, #16).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.433 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #4) offered up fresh installments of "New Girl" (2.875 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T5), "Grandfathered" (2.543 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T9), "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.325 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8) and "The Grinder" (1.991 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T13).
