Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX, "MasterChef" Top Demos

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/14/17):

FOX (3.030 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday with new episodes from "MasterChef" (3.623 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T1) and "The F Word with Gordon Ramsay" (2.437 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3).

NBC (4.068 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) then was the silver draw with the season finale of "Little Big Shots" (7.156 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T1), a new "The Carmichael Show" (3.766 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T3) and repeats of "Superstore" (2.158 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #14) and "This Is Us" (2.088 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).

Next up was CBS (4.075 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) and its repeat lineup of "Undercover Boss" (3.488 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Criminal Minds" (4.564 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7) and "Code Black" (4.173 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T12).

Meanwhile, ABC (2.714 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3) likewise opted for second runs of "The Goldbergs" (3.044 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Speechless" (2.453 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7), "Modern Family" (2.965 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5), "American Housewife" (2.776 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T5) and "Steve Harvey's Funderdome" (2.524 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T7).

And finally, rebroadcasts of "Arrow" (1.046 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.2, #16) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.141 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.3, #15) rounded out the evening for The CW (1.094 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/15/16):

NBC (4.286 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) was the network to beat on Wednesday with an encore of "American Ninja Warrior" (4.202 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) and a new "The Night Shift" (4.454 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4).

FOX (3.370 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then was a close second with fresh installments from "MasterChef" (4.197 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) and "Wayward Pines" (2.543 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

Next up was ABC (3.350 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its repeat lineup of "The Middle" (4.170 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T5), "The Goldbergs" (3.409 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7), "Modern Family" (3.872 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3), "Black-ish" (3.467 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T5), "Fresh Off the Boat" (2.866 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T7) and "The Real O'Neals" (2.315 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #13).

Meanwhile, CBS (4.191 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up its own second run mix of "Undercover Boss" (3.970 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9), "Criminal Minds" (4.325 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9) and "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders" (4.277 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T9).

And finally, repeats of "Arrow" (1.132 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and "Supernatural" (0.758 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.2, #15) on The CW (0.945 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the night.
