Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/3/17):
NBC (4.587 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) was the top draw on Monday with new episodes of "American Ninja Warrior" (5.082 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.1, #1) and "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" (3.597 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #2).
CBS (3.291 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) then was the number two network with repeats of "Kevin Can Wait" (3.314 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3), "Man with a Plan" (2.987 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3), "Mom" (3.483 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3), "Life in Pieces" (3.032 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) and "Scorpion" (3.466 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7).
Next up was ABC (2.308 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) with encores of "The Bachelorette" (2.522 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) and "Battle of the Network Stars" (1.881 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7).
Meanwhile, FOX (1.721 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T2) offered up a repeat "So You Think You Can Dance" (1.798 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7) and a new "Superhuman" (1.644 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T7).
And finally, repeats of "Supergirl" (0.816 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12), "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" · In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 0.8/3 with an encore. NBC (6.175 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the holiday champ on Monday with its annual presentation of the "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" (6.968 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) followed by an encore of "Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular" (4.589 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2).
CBS (4.337 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) then was a distant second with repeats of "Mom" (3.816 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5) and "2 Broke Girls" (3.610 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) followed by the "Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular" (4.649 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3).
