Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Viewers, Shares Demo Victory with ABC

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (7/9/17):

CBS (5.343 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) was the top draw on Sunday with its mix of "60 Minutes" (7.188 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7), "Big Brother 19" (6.487 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1), the premiere of "Candy Crush" (4.134 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) and a repeat "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.564 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10).

Sharing in the demo honors was ABC (5.104 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T1) and its summer lineup of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.460 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.8, #6), "Celebrity Family Feud" (6.764 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2), "Steve Harvey's Funderdome" (4.634 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4) and "$100,000 Pyramid" (4.559 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T4).

Next up was NBC (2.677 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with a new "Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly" (3.211 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) followed by repeats of "The Wall" (2.260 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) and "American Ninja Warrior" (2.620 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7).

And finally, repeats of "Bob's Burgers" (0.885 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.3, #16), another "Bob's Burgers" (1.064 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12), "The Simpsons" (1.420 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T10) and "Family Guy" (1.458 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9) plus a new "American Grit" (1.112 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) rounded out the night on FOX (1.175 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4).

ABC (6.094 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then had to settle for second place with its lineup of "America's Funniest Home Videos" (4.276 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.7, #8), "Celebrity Family Feud" (7.327 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3), "$100,000 Pyramid" (7.083 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3) and "Match Game" (5.691 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #5).
