Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC Wins Big with Oscars

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/4/18):

ABC (22.446 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 5.8, #1) was of course the network to beat on Sunday with its annual coverage of the "Oscars Opening Ceremony: Live from the Red Carpet" (16.574 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.0, #2) and "The 90th Annual Academy Awards" (24.404 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.4, #1).

NBC (2.703 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #2) then topped the leftover audience with its telecasts of "Dateline NBC" (4.048 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4) and the feature "Furious 7" (2.255 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T4).

Next up was CBS (4.548 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) and its repeat lineup of "60 Minutes" (6.549 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3), "NCIS" (4.239 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9), "Bull" (3.897 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (3.508 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

And finally, FOX (1.738 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T3) rounded out the evening with its special "Billy Graham: An Extraordinary Journey " (2.859 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) alongside repeats of "The Simpsons" (1.471 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6), "Ghosted" (0.992 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9), "Family Guy" (1.215 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "LA to Vegas" (1.035 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T9).

Leading off the night was a repeat "Little Big Shots" (6.070 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

CBS (7.895 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) then was the most-watched network with its mainstays "60 Minutes" (10.643 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (9.321 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "Madam Secretary" (7.363 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T13) and "Elementary" (4.252 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T16).

Next up was FOX (2.132 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T2) with a repeat "Bob's Burgers" (1.582 million viewers, #18; adults 18-49: 0.5, #18) followed by new episodes of "Bob's Burgers" (1.790 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T13), "The Simpsons" (2.615 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5), the premiere of "Making History" (2.190 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T11), "Family Guy" (2.451 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3) and "The Last Man on Earth" (2.163 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7).

And finally, a new "America's Funniest Home Videos" (5.243 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T7), the return of "Once Upon a Time" (3.024 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T11), the debut of "Time After Time" (2.557 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #15) and a second "Time After Time" (2.504 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T16) rounded out the night on ABC (3.332 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4).
