Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: ABC, "Roseanne" Top Demos; CBS Leads Total Viewers

Here are the highlights of the 16 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/17/18):

ABC (4.969 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) held onto the demo crown on Tuesday with its mix of "Roseanne" (13.013 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.4, #1), a special "Alex, Inc." (4.845 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "Black-ish" (4.141 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5), "Splitting Up Together" (3.616 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #8) and "For the People" (2.098 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).

CBS (10.116 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) likewise was still the most-watched broadcaster with originals from "NCIS" (11.271 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5), "Bull" (10.689 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (8.388 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

Next up was NBC (6.243 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) and its lineup of "The Voice" (8.211 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2), "Rise" (4.310 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "Chicago Med" (6.210 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.694 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Lethal Weapon" (3.509 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11), "LA to Vegas" (2.036 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12) and "New Girl" (1.724 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12).

And finally, a new "The Flash" (1.872 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T12) and the season finale of "Black Lightning" (1.689 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.5, #16) closed out the night on The CW (1.780 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5).

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.6/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.5/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

NBC (7.018 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) kept its demo streak alive (16 weeks) with a special two-hour "The Voice" (8.710 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #1) followed by a new "Trial & Error" (4.103 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and the season finale of "Trial & Error" (3.167 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12).

CBS (11.126 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was the silver draw with originals from "NCIS" (13.070 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2), "Bull" (10.269 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5) and "NCIS: New Orleans" (10.039 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T5).

Next up was ABC (3.580 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with fresh installments of "The Middle" (5.243 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "American Housewife" (4.439 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T3), "Fresh Off the Boat" (3.672 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.0, #7), "Imaginary Mary" (3.189 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" (2.469 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11).
