SCIENCE CHANNEL CONTINUES ITS ASCENT IN 2018 WITH HIGHEST RATED APRIL IN ITS HISTORY IN KEY DEMOS
(New York) - Science Channel's strong performance in 2018 continued as it enjoyed the highest rated April in network history in Primetime with Adults and Men 25-54 and Total Viewers P2+. With the April high mark, Science Channel has put up record numbers in three of the first four months of 2018. The April ratings surge was driven by the strong performance of sophomore sensation MYSTERIES OF THE ABANDONED. The popular engineering series, which airs Tuesday nights, is up 42% over season one, and is the network's top-rated series in 2018 with Adults 25-54.
Overall, for the month of April vs. April 2017, Science Channel was up in Primetime 10%/+17% among Adults/Men 25-54 and +11% among Total Viewers P2+.
In Total Day, the month was also the highest rated April in Science Channel history among Adults/Men/Women 25-54 and Total Viewers P2+, making it 11 straight months of Adults 25-54 Total Day year over year ratings increase.
