Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC, "The Voice" Top Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (12/10/18):

NBC (6.846 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) once again held off the competition on Monday with a new "The Voice" (8.404 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) and the special "Pentatonix: A Not So Silent Night" (3.729 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7).

CBS (6.712 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then was a close second with originals from "The Neighborhood" (7.127 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2), "Happy Together" (5.214 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3), "Magnum P.I." (5.997 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3) and "Bull" (7.967 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T3).

Next up was ABC (5.277 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and its specials "CMA Country Christmas" (6.235 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #6) and "The Great Christmas Light Fight: All Stars" (3.363 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9).

Meanwhile, The CW (1.578 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #4) got a boost from the fall finales to "Arrow" (2.043 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T7) and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" (1.113 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11).

And finally, repeats of "The Resident" (2.256 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11) and "9-1-1" (2.344 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #10) on FOX (2.300 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5) rounded out the night.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/5. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (12/11/17):

NBC (8.766 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) was the network to beat on Monday with a new "The Voice" (10.370 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) followed by a special "Better Late Than Never" (5.557 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4).

ABC (4.619 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then was the silver draw with week two of "The Great Christmas Light Fight" (5.377 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2), a second "The Great Christmas Light Fight" (5.069 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) and "The Bachelor: Countdown to Arie" (3.411 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

Next up was CBS (5.565 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its lineup of originals from "Kevin Can Wait" (6.342 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4), "Man with a Plan" (5.680 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.0, #6), "Superior Donuts" (5.217 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7), "9JKL" (4.326 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12) and "Scorpion" (5.913 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.075 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up the fall finales of "Lucifer" (3.362 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9) and "The Gifted" (2.788 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T9).

And finally, a repeat "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.059 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) and the fall finale of "Valor" (0.770 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #14) rounded out the night on The CW (0.915 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5).
