Friday's Broadcast Ratings: "Blue Bloods" Tops Charts for CBS

Here are the highlights of the 10 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/24/20):

CBS (7.108 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1) took home top honors on Friday with its mix of "MacGyver" (6.180 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2), "Magnum P.I." (7.059 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2) and "Blue Bloods" (8.086 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1).

Sharing the demo crown was ABC (3.121 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1) with its coverage of the "2020 NFL Draft - Rounds 2-3" (3.121 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T2).

Next up was NBC (4.671 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with new episodes of "The Blacklist" (4.815 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5) and "Dateline NBC" (4.600 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T5).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.014 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up its weekly "WWE SmackDown" (2.014 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #7).

And finally, The CW (0.814 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) opted for repeats of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (0.944 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T8), "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.618 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.1, #10) and another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.749 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T8).

CBS (6.628 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) was the top draw on Friday thanks to its original lineup of "MacGyver" (5.624 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3), "Hawaii Five-0" (6.548 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1) and "Blue Bloods" (7.712 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T1).

NBC (4.035 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with a special "The Blacklist" (4.109 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3), a second "The Blacklist" (3.972 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "Dateline NBC" (4.024 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #T3).

Next up was ABC (2.584 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.5, #3) and its primetime portion of the "2019 NFL Draft - Rounds 2-3" (2.584 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.135 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up repeats of "Last Man Standing" (2.881 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T6) and "The Cool Kids" (2.157 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.4, #9) plus a new "Proven Innocent" (1.751 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.3, #10).

And finally, a new "Dynasty" (0.594 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) and repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.536 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.1, #13) and a second "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" · In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/2; "Late Show," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.1/1 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.1/4 with an encore in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.2/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
