Monday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Stays on Top with NCAA Coverage

Here are the highlights of the 10 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/22/21):

CBS (4.981 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #1) once again scored top honors on Monday with its primetime portions of the "NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: (1) Michigan vs. (8) LSU" (5.802 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) and "NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: (3) Kansas vs. (6) USC" (4.159 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2).

NBC (4.872 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) was the silver draw with its duo of "The Voice" (5.913 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and "Debris" (2.791 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6).

Next up was ABC (4.575 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) with the Monday premiere of "American Idol" (4.575 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) and a new "The Good Doctor" (4.177 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #5).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.233 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #4) offered up a repeat "9-1-1" (2.460 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6) and a new "America's Most Wanted" (2.006 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T6).

And finally, The CW (0.411 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.1, #5) closed out the night with a new "Bulletproof" (0.529 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T9) and a repeat "Black Lightning" (0.293 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.1, #T9).
