Sunday's Broadcast Ratings: "Academy of Country Music Awards" Tops Charts for CBS

Here are the highlights of the 18 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (4/18/21):

CBS (6.606 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1) claimed top honors on Sunday thanks to a new "60 Minutes" (8.173 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.6, #3) and the "56th Academy of Country Music Awards" (6.606 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #1).

ABC (3.699 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.5, #2) was the silver draw with its mix of "Home Economics" (2.083 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T9), another "Home Economics" (1.680 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T12), a new "American Idol" (4.640 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #2) and an original "The Rookie" (3.637 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T4).
