"60 Minutes" Is America's Most-Watched News Program and Makes the Top 10
60 MINUTES remains the #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers and adults 18+ for the eighth consecutive week. The broadcast delivered 10.7 million viewers (up +41% from the same night last year) with 10.4 million in adults 18+ (up +40% year-over-year) and 2.5 million in adults 25-54 (up +109% year-over-year), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Nov. 6.
60 MINUTES has been America's #1 news program for eight straight weeks and has finished in the top 10 every week this season. 60 MINUTES was the week's #8 primetime program in viewers, #7 in adults 18+ and #9 in adults 25-54. 60 MINUTES' potential social impressions (252m) were up +52% from the prior week.
Sunday's broadcast featured Bill Whitaker's report on social media and political polarization in America; Anderson Cooper's story on the migrant situation in New York City; and Jon Wertheim's look at preppers.
