"60 Minutes" Remains America's #1 News Program and Stays in the Top 10 for 11 Straight Weeks
60 MINUTES is the week's #1 non-sports primetime program in total viewers and adults 18+, delivering 9.03 million viewers (up +19% from the same night last year) with 8.82 million in adults 18+ (up +19% year-over-year) and 1.33 million in adults 25-54 (up +21% year-over-year), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Nov. 27.
60 MINUTES has remained America's #1 news program and a top 10 series for 11 consecutive weeks. 60 MINUTES was the week's #8 primetime program in viewers and #7 in adults 18+. The broadcast's potential social impressions (250m) were up +86% from the prior week.
Sunday's broadcast featured Scott Pelley's report on forgotten Black cemeteries uncovered in Florida and two reports from Anderson Cooper on dogs: the first on how they evolved to become man's best friend, followed by a story on cancer treatments for dogs that could also lead to breakthroughs for humans.
