"60 MINUTES" IS AGAIN TELEVISION'S #1 PRIMETIME PROGRAM FOR THE WEEK
For the second straight week, 60 MINUTES was the week's #1 primetime broadcast in total viewers and adults 18+, and #2 in adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Sunday, March 26. The CBS newsmagazine delivered 9.29 million total viewers, 9.09 million in adults 18+ and 1.82 million in adults 25-54.
60 MINUTES collected 332 million potential social impressions on Sunday, up +33% compared to the prior week.
Sunday's edition of 60 MINUTES featured Scott Pelley's look at advancements in artificial prosthetics technology that can now restore a sense of touch; Sharyn Alfonsi's report on newsletter authors Ina and David Steiner who were stalked and harassed by eBay employees; and Jon Wertheim's profile of candid sports analyst Charles Barkley.
