MEDIA ALERT: NBC WINS PREMIERE WEEK FOR 12TH STRAIGHT TIME IN DEMO, 5TH STRAIGHT IN TOTAL VIEWERS
· NBC has won Premiere Week once again and has been #1 for 12 consecutive years in the 18-49 demo and five straight years in total viewers.
· NBC won the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1 with its highest total viewers (6.8 million) for a Premiere Week since 2019.
· Compared to last season, NBC's Premiere Week was up 13% in total viewers and 15% in the demo.
· Compared to the 2022 Premiere Week, NBC is up vs. competitors in total viewers in both overall programming and entertainment programming only.
· NBC placed eight of the top 12 shows in Premiere Week in total viewers, including "Sunday Night Football," "The Voice" and "America's Got Talent."
· "The Irrational" (5.6 million viewers) was NBC's most-watched drama debut since 2021.
· NBC came into the fall season with more original scripted programming than any of its broadcast competitors. The network will ultimately launch five original dramas this fall - new series "The Irrational" (Sept. 25) and "Found" (Oct. 3) and returning series "Quantum Leap," (Oct. 4) "Magnum P.I." (Oct. 4) and "Transplant" (Oct. 12).
