Top 10 Week of Jan. 1: 'Society of the Snow' and 'Fool Me Once' Debut at #1; 'Lupin: Part 3' Enters Most Popular

The highly praised new epic survival story Society of the Snow (Spain), from director J.A. Bayona, which recounts the true story of the 1972 Andes plane crash, opened at #1 on the Non-English Films List with 22.9M views - the most of any film for the week. The film is Spain's country selection for the 2024 Academy Awards(R) and currently holds a 90% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes with reviews from around the world. Members tuned into Harlan Coben's newest crime thriller adaptation Fool Me Once (UK), which was the most watched title of the week. The limited series debuted atop the English TV List with 37.1M views and reached the Top 10 in 91 countries.

On the English TV List, stand-up special Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer climbed its way to #2 (10.2M views) while coming-of-age teen drama My Life With the Walter Boys spent its fifth week on the list at #4 (4.4M views). New entrants this week included health and wellness limited docuseries You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment at #3 (8M views) and the critically acclaimed action drama The Brothers Sun, starring Michelle Yeoh, at #5 (4.1M views).

Berlin (Spain), the Money Heist spin-off series, once again seized the top spot on the Non-English TV List for the second week in a row with 22.3M views. Part 1 of Money Heist (Spain) returned to the list at #10 (1.5M views). Romantic comedy series The Manny (Mexico) held onto #2 (4.1M views) while monster horror series Gyeongseong Creature (Korea) landed at #3 (3.4M views). Pókemon Concierge (Japan) rose to #5 (2.6M views). Live-action manga adaptation Yu Yu Hakusho (Japan) came in at #9 (1.5M views). Over on the Most Popular List, Lupin: Part 3 (France) nabbed the #10 spot with 50M views. All three parts of Lupin are now on the Most Popular List.

The comedy Thank You, I'm Sorry (Sweden) reached #2 (3.5M views) on the Non-English Films list, and fantasy film A Vampire in the Family (Brazil) claimed #3 (3.3M views). The new action thriller The Abandoned (Taiwan) debuted at #5 (2.5M views).

The Equalizer 3, starring Denzel Washington and Dakota Fanning, thrilled members all the way to the top of the English Films List with 14.8M views. Zack Snyder's epic science-fiction fantasy Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire continued to entice viewers at #2 (11.1M views) and reached the Top 10 in 88 countries. The apocalyptic thriller Leave the World Behind spent its fifth week on the list at #3 (7.9M views) and Adam Sandler's animated comedy Leo stayed strong at #7 (5.5M views) for its seventh week on the list.
