Top 10 Week of July 1: 'Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F' Debuts at #1

The heat is back on. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, starring the legendary Eddie Murphy, debuted at #1 on the English Films List with 41M views, making it the most-watched title of the week. From Detroit to Beverly Hills, fans celebrated the long-awaited return of the wise-cracking detective that launched the action comedy genre with music from Lil Nas X and Detroit's own Big Sean, a throwback '80s trailer, the return of Crazy Frog, and even some new drip for Lady Liberty.

Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron brought heat of a different kind - much to the dismay of Joey King - in the romantic comedy A Family Affair, which took the #2 spot with 31.9M views. The Jessica Alba action-thriller Trigger Warning claimed #3 with 8M views.

Season 3 of Shonda Rhimes' Bridgerton continued to steal hearts, dancing to fourth place on the English TV List with 4M views. The #Polin season also moved up to eighth place on the Most Popular TV List (English), clocking a total of 95.8M views in 53 days.

The sci-fi drama series Supacell, which currently has a 100% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, rose to the top of the English TV List, clocking 11.8M views. Documentaries had a big week on the list. Making their debuts were The Man with 100 Kids in second place (6.6M views), Season 2 of Worst Roommate Ever in third (5.4M views), and Sprint ran into sixth place (2.4M views) as fans prepare for the Paris 2024 Olympics. Returning to the list were America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in seventh (2.3M views), and Season 1 of Worst Roommate Ever in tenth place (1.8M views). Elsewhere on the list, reality ruled, with real estate series Owning Manhattan debuting in fifth place (2.6M views) and Season 2 of competition series The Mole sneaking into ninth place (1.8M views).

The apex predator of the Non-English Films List struck again, with jaw-some thriller Under Paris (France) circling back to the #1 spot (3.6M views). The film also moved up to the #3 spot on the Most Popular Films List (Non-English). Quirky romance Goyo (Argentina) debuted at #2 with 3.2M views. Returning to the list were the slow-burn drama, Maharaj (India) at #3 (3.2M views), the bittersweet drama Drawing Closer (Japan) at #4 (2.4M views), and the quirky comedy Inheritance (Poland) at #6 (1.8M views).

The gritty crime drama Gangs of Galicia (Spain) held onto the top spot on the Non-English TV List with 2.4M views. New list entrants included political thriller The Whirlwind (Korea) in fourth place (1.8M views), telenovela Desperate Lies (Brazil) in fifth (1.8M views), gritty drama Òlòtūré: The Journey (Nigeria) in sixth (1.7M views), and Season 3 of Rhythm and Flow: France in ninth (1.4M views).
