DESCRIPTION:
(from PBS's press release, July 2020) PBS announced today that the beloved British drama series LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX will return for its fourth full season in the U.S. - previously broadcast as Season 5 on BBC One - premiering September 20, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. ET on PBS stations (check local listings). The four-episode series will air as part of PBS's Sunday night drama lineup and will stream nationally on PBS.org and the PBS Video App. The heartwarming triple BAFTA-winning series reunites its multi-award-winning ensemble of Derek Jacobi (VICIOUS), Anne Reid (SANDITON), Nicola Walker (UNFORGOTTEN), Sarah Lancashire (HAPPY VALLEY) and Timothy West (GENTLEMAN JACK). LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX tells the story of love-struck Alan Buttershaw (Jacobi) and Celia Dawson (Reid), who rediscover their love for each other 60 years after they first met. |
