DESCRIPTION:
(from Paramount+'s web site, February 2023) Roberto Calvi, a fugitive financier known as “God’s Banker,” was found hanging from a London bridge in 1982. What starts as an investigation surrounding one man’s death, quickly expands into a story of international intrigue, as we learn that Calvi was in business with the Vatican, the Mafia, as well as a neo-fascist groups in Italy. Unraveling the mystery will take us into the darkest corners of the Cold War. |
