Premiering on Wednesday, March 1 (10:00-11:00pm ET/PT) on Spike, "TIME: The Kalief Browder Story" is a compelling, six-part documentary event series tells the story of Kalief Browder, a 16 year old African-American student who spent three years in jail on Rikers Island without ever being convicted of a crime. "TIME: The Kalief Browder Story" will be an important television event that takes a comprehensive look at Browder's story using first-person accounts, archival footage, and cinematic recreations of key scenes from Browder's life to present a definitive narrative of the shocking story that became a symbolic touchstone for criminal justice activism and reform. The groundbreaking series features exclusive interviews from a wide range of those connected to the story, from politicians to close friends and family members to social reformers. |
