TV LAND RELEASES EXTENDED SCENE FROM NEW COMEDY "YOUNGER" FEATURING SUTTON FOSTER AND HILARY DUFF
New Premiere Date Set For March 31st
New York, NY - December 4, 2014 - TV Land is giving viewers a look into "Younger," the network's newest original series from "Sex and the City" creator Darren Star, with an extended scene released today. Now shooting in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the series stars two-time Tony Award(R) winner Sutton Foster, Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar, Miriam Shor and Nico Tortorella. "Younger" re-teams Star with Patricia Field, the renowned stylist who was behind the trend-setting looks on "Sex and the City." The series will now premiere on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT.
"'Younger' has an irresistible take on secrets, sex and second chances," said Larry W. Jones, President of TV Land. "The series will now serve as the launching pad for the network's new edgier comedies including 'Impastor,' 'Teachers' and 'The Jim Gaffigan Show' which will premiere later in the spring and summer."
"Younger" follows 40-year old Liza (Foster), a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find it's nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with the sexy Josh (Tortorella), a young tattoo artist, convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as 26 - with the help of a makeover, courtesy of her best friend Maggie (Mazar). Armed with new confidence, she lands a job as an assistant to the temperamental Diana (Shor) and teams up with her new co-worker and 20-something Kelsey (Duff) to make it in the career of her dreams. Now she just has to make sure no one discovers her secret.
